Meet Taylor (me!)

My vocal journey began in a slightly unconventional way. As a child, I had a severe speech impediment, which led my parents to a local speech therapist—who just so happened to be a musician. It didn’t take long to discover that when I sang what I wanted to say, my words came out clear (and as loud) as a bell. And they couldn’t get me to shut up ever since, The End…. Just kidding!

I began my “official” musical journey at the age of 5 when I picked up my sisters violin. My music loving parents quickly got me into private violin lessons and a few years later, I had my first singing lesson and WahBam! I was hooked; Music became my life .

My youth was spent participating in countless choirs, orchestras, music lessons, and eventually bands. I expanded into contemporary vocal training after joining the Baltimore School of Rock, (where I would later return as a full-time instructor.) I graduated in 2011 from the Baltimore School for the Arts, where I refined my classical performance skills, developed a strong discipline and built a solid foundation in music theory.

I had the honor to appeared on some of the country’s most respected stages, including Lollapalooza, The Hangout Music Festival, World Café Live, and the House of Blues. I had toured nationally as a School of Rock National AllStar and currently perform with multiple musical acts. In 2020, I made history as the first official Woman member of the Kelly Bell Band. You can also find me singing the National Anthem for the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards ( Let’s go O’s!)
